Datenschutzrichtlinie
Dieser Text wird als Höflichkeitsübersetzung zur Verfügung gestellt. Sie erklären sich mit der englischen Version der mmhmm Datenschutzrichtlinie einverstanden.
mmhmm is a virtual camera and presentation application that helps you communicate with video -- both in real-time and asynchronously -- via desktop, mobile, web-based and cloud-based applications. These Services - including mmhmm and others that link to this Privacy Policy - provide you with fun ways to present your ideas, collaborate with others, and to share your content.
When you use these Services, certain information is shared with us. We want to be as clear as possible about what type of information we collect, how we use it, whom it is shared with, and your options for controlling it.
By using our Services, you agree to the collection, use, and sharing of information described in this Privacy Policy. We have also provided a summary for quick reference.
1. Information we collect from you
There are three different categories of information we collect about you when you use our Services. Information may include or reflect personal information, as well as non-personal information, that could identify you.
- Information that you provide to us
- Information related to your use of our Services
- Information about you from third parties
Below are more details about these categories.
Information that you provide to us
Account information. When you sign up for certain mmhmm accounts, the information you provide to us may include your name, email address, phone number, company name and billing information.
Financial information. In order to make purchases, you may need to provide a valid payment method (i.e., credit or debit card) and its associated account information. Your payment information will be collected and processed by our authorized payment vendors, and we do not directly collect or store payment information in the ordinary course of processing transactions. The privacy policies of third payment processors govern the use of your information. These payment processors are required to adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS to help ensure the secure handling of payment information.
If we allow purchase through a third-party platform (i.e. in-app purchase), the payment method stored with the third-party platform will be charged.
Content. You may create content that includes presentations, videos, text, photographs, and artwork, which may include your likeness or other identifying information. You permit us to collect, process and store your content. You can delete content in your personal account at any time.
Content in Business accounts. If you are a Business account user, you authorize us to collect, process and store content and related information for yourself and/or the organization which is the owner of the Business account.
Where the Services are provided to you through a Business account managed by an organization that administers access, that organization may be able to:
- Establish its own rules regarding your access, use, disclosure, or retention of data stored in the business account;
- Access information about your account activity;
- Access your content, and permit content sharing with other authorized business account members,
- Delete or limit access to your account or its content; and
- Change the email address associated with your account.
Any downloaded recordings you create of your presentations remain under your control whether those recordings are stored locally on your computer or on the cloud hosting Service, subject to any conditions applicable to your use of a Business account.
Please note that Business account admins or owners cannot access any other accounts that are not part of the Business account. For more information, please see the Business account FAQs.
Other information you submit. You may submit information to us for limited purposes, such as requesting customer support, providing feedback on our Services, entering contests or sweepstakes, or signing up to receive communications from us.
