Acceptable Use and Behavior Policy
This text is provided as a courtesy translation. You agree to be bound by the English versions of the mmhmm Terms of Service and mmhmm for Teams Agreement.
The following guidelines supplement the mmhmm Terms of Service. As a mmhmm user, you are required to follow these policies to help ensure the integrity and safety of using mmhmm.
These policies apply to all types of User Content used in mmhmm’s Services, including videos, comments, links, and thumbnails.

User Content Policies
You may not use User Content in our Services that:
- Infringes the intellectual property rights (such as copyright, trademark, or similar rights), or other third party rights (such as publicity, privacy, or similar rights)
- Is harmful, threatening, violent, sexually explicit, abusive, harassing, libelous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, invasive of another’s privacy, or hateful
- Violates any law or breaches contractual or fiduciary relationships (e.g., inside information, confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements, protected health information or other personally identifiable information)
- Is created in a manner that violates human rights, including but not limited to activities such as debt bondage, forced labor, child slavery, or other oppressive practices
- Is not compliant with any policies, laws or regulations applicable to the Third Party Providers whose products or services you access, create, or share while using the Service.
mmhmm reserves the right to make a determination as to whether User Content is acceptable, in its sole discretion.
Additional Restrictions
Please note that mmhmm does not facilitate the use of User Content for commercial purposes, for example, the sale of video recordings made by mmhmm. You may need to acquire separate rights and/or licenses to use such User Content for commercial purposes.
THIS PRODUCT IS LICENSED UNDER THE AVC PATENT PORTFOLIO LICENSE FOR THE PERSONAL USE OF A CONSUMER OR OTHER USES IN WHICH IT DOES NOT RECEIVE REMUNERATION TO (i) ENCODE VIDEO IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE AVC STANDARD (“AVC VIDEO”) AND/OR (ii) DECODE AVC VIDEO THAT WAS ENCODED BY A CONSUMER ENGAGED IN A PERSONAL ACTIVITY AND/OR WAS OBTAINED FROM A VIDEO PROVIDER LICENSED TO PROVIDE AVC VIDEO. NO LICENSE IS GRANTED OR SHALL BE IMPLIED FOR ANY OTHER USE. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION MAY BE OBTAINED FROM MPEG LA, L.L.C. SEE HTTP://WWW.MPEGLA.COM
How to Report User Content
Copyright Complaints
If you believe your copyrighted work has been used in a way that constitutes an infringement of your rights, please follow the instructions in mmhmm’s Copyright Policy. Please note that you should only submit a complaint if you are the copyright owner, or authorized representative of the copyright owner.
Other Intellectual Property Complaints
If you believe that an intellectual property right (other than copyright) has been infringed, please email mmhmm at report@mmhmm.app with the following information:
- Your name and email address
- Identification of the intellectual property you believe is being infringed (for example, a trademark registration number)
- Explanation of your ownership (owner of intellectual property, authorized representative of intellectual property holder, etc.)
- Link to the User Content at issue, and a timestamp to the allegedly infringing use, if applicable
Please note that mmhmm may share the above information with the owner of the User Content, if necessary.
Privacy complaints
If you believe that your personal information is being improperly shared in User Content, please email mmhmm at report@mmhmm.app with the following information:
- Your name and email address
- Link to the User Content at issue, and a timestamp to the allegedly improper use, if applicable
- Explanation of the issue and your specific request in relation to the User Content
Please note that mmhmm may share the above information with the owner of the User Content, if necessary.
Other issues
If you believe that User Content violates mmhmm’s Policies, please email mmhmm at report@mmhmm.app with the following information:
- Your name and email address
- Link to the User Content at issue, and a timestamp to the allegedly improper use, if applicable
- Explanation of the issue and any relevant information you have so that we can properly look into the issue.
Please note that mmhmm may share the above information with the owner of the User Content, if necessary.
What Happens After You Report User Content
mmhmm will review and assess the complaint, and take action as deemed appropriate (including removing User Content). Please note that you may not receive any further communications about the status of the complaint following your submission.
